Shopping List:
1 Whole Chicken 2 to 3 pounds
2 10 oz of Green Beans
2 1/2 cooked shrimp
4 to 6 large potatoes
1 container of mushrooms
2 to 4 pounds of pork chops
Arborio Rice ( this can be found at specialty stores and Fresh And Easy stores
1 container of minced garlic (3 to 5 ounces)
1 can tomato paste
1 can diced tomatoes
1 pkg of your favorite noodles
2 pkgs of frozen broccoli (not cuts)
butter or margarine
dried oregano
salt & pepper
chili powder
Milk
Ranch dressings
olive oil
Bread
1 pound of shredded cheese (your choice cheese)
dry white wine
Chicken broth
red pepper flakes
hot sauce
1 onion
1 bunch of parsley
apple cider vinegar
Simply Yummy Chicken with garlic green beans
Wash whole chicken with warm water. Place 1 cup of apple cider vinegar in pan you will be baking chicken in. Place chicken in pan. Pour 1/4 cup of vinegar over chicken. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place 1 table spoon oregano over chicken. Rub all over chicken. Wear gloves if needed. Do the same with 1 table spoon black pepper, 2 table spoons chili powder and 2 table spoons minced garlic. Let set for 30 minutes. Before cooking pour 1/4 cup of olive oil into pan. Cook for up to 2 hours, chicken should still be moist. Cook green beans 15 to 30 minutes before chicken is finished cooking. Over medium high heat, melt 4 table spoons of butter. Once butter is melted completely place 2 table spoons of garlic. Let garlic get hot and almost toast stirring often. Add both cans of green beans. Cook until green beans are nice and buttery. Store half of green beans for next meal. Enjoy.
Cajun Shrimp with mashed potatoes and garlic green beans
Wash potatoes while boiling water in big pan. Season water with 1 teaspoon salt. Cut potatoes into cubes for faster cooking. Peel potatoes if desired. Cook potatoes until soft and able to be mashed. Drain water and mash potatoes in large serving bowl, add 1 cup milk, 1/2 cup butter 2 tablespoons garlic 1 tablespoon black pepper, 1/4 cup ranch. Stir until well combined add more milk if needed for smoother potatoes. Set aside. Over medium heat, place 3 table spoons olive oil. While oil heats wash cooked shrimp. Place cooked shrimp into hot pan. Add 1 table spoon red pepper flakes and 1 teaspoon salt. Stir until shrimp is coated nicely. Turn heat down to low. Add 1 teaspoon hot sauce and 1 teaspoon chili powder . Turn off heat and stir until well combined. Divide shrimp in half for next meal. Heat up left over green beans in microwave. Serve meal and enjoy!
Mushroom Risotto with Cajun Shrimp and Broccoli
On low heat place broccoli and 1 tablespoon butter with water. Allow to boil. If desired you could steam the broccoli. Place chicken broth in soup pan. Place over low heat. Add 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes. Chop up1/2 of the onion. Save the other half. Now in another soup like pan melt 2 table spoons butter, next add 1 tablespoon garlic and chopped onion and ½ a container of mushrooms. Cook until onions are almost clear depending on type of onion. Add 1 ½ cup of arborio rice to pan. Stir to coat rice with butter. Rice should toast lightly but not burn. Now add 1 cup of the wine. Stir 5 times then let wine sit for the count of 10. Stir again. Wine should be gone from pan. With soap spoon place 2 spoon fulls of broth into rice. Stir 5 times then wait for broth to disappear. Do this until all of broth is gone. DO NOT ADD BROTH ALL AT ONCE! Remove from heat. Add 1 tablespoon pepper and 1 ½ cup of shredded cheese. Stir until cheese is nicely melted. Reheat Cajun shrimp and remove broccoli from stove. Store half of broccoli. Serve and enjoy!
Pork Chops, garlic bread and broccoli
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In cake baking pan place ¼ cup olive oil and 1 tablespoon salt. Wash pork chops. Place pork chops in pan coat the flip over for other side to get oil and salt. Now add 2 tablespoons chili powder. Coat evenly on only top side. In small bowl melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add to bowl ½ chopped onion and ½ container of mushrooms. Add salt and pepper to taste, stir until well combined. Add ¼ cup of water to bowl. Pour over pork chops. Cover baking pan with foil. Cook pork chops for 1 hour to 1 ½ hours. When pork chops are almost done, in small bowl combine 6 tablespoons butter with 2 tablespoons garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes 1 teaspoon oregano. Mix until well combined. Spread mixture over 8 to 10 slices of bread. Place in over while pork chops are cooking. Allow to cook for up to 10 minutes until bread is nice and toasted. Place half of garlic bread in fridge for the next meal. Heat up broccoli when pork chops are finished cooking. Serve and enjoy
Bacon and Tomato pasta with garlic bread
Boil pasta with salt and ½ tablespoon olive oil. Cook bacon how you like you. In same pan add tomato paste, diced tomatoes and ¼ cup water. Add salt and pepper and stir nicely. Add ¼ cup chopped parsley and 1 tablespoon chili powder and 2 tablespoons oregano. Stir again. Now add 1 teaspoon garlic. Cook sauce for up to 10 minutes. Sauce should start to bubble. Place garlic bread in oven to reheat. Drain pasta and place in sauce. Stir until well combined. Remove garlic bread from oven and serve along side pasta. Serve and enjoy!
